Imu
Traditional Hawaiian Underground Cooking Pit
The imu represents an ancient communal tradition of cooking in a pit and sharing the bounty of the land with others. This imu was done at the farm/hālau in Keauhou, on Hualālai mountain for the July 2026 House of Unauna Kapōhaialiʻi Family Reunion held in Maui.
